Happy Land brought Frances on screen in the role of wife and mother. It wasn't a showy part, but she made it real and warm. Here, as Agnes Marsh, she walks with the men in her character's life: husband Lew (Don Ameche), and their son (the young Rusty played by Larry Olsen).
